The 2021 CPAQ Awards recognise outstanding individuals working in caravan parks in Queensland, and caravan parks undertaking awesome initiatives.
Nominations can be made by anyone that knows the nominee well enough to complete the nomination form (or address the criteria) and can also be made by self-nomination.
We are currently seeking judges for the 2022 CPAQ Award

Crows Nest Tourist Park
Crows Nest Caravan Park, as it was known then, was best described as well boned but rather under nourished. The tourist park is now well presented, welcoming and picturesque with significant repeat business. It has also become an integral member of the local community.
Bush Oasis Caravan Park
Bush Oasis Caravan Park have constructed a Wetland Wastewater Recycling and Habitat Protection wetland, providing significant environmental benefits, an economic benefit to the business and an appealing feature for the growing eco-tourist traveller.
Bush Oasis Caravan Park aims to inspire environmentally sustainable tourism practices. To achieve this they have received a 3 star rating with CCIQ Ecobiz for energy, waste and water, in addition to Advanced Ecotourism Accreditation.
Brooke Turner of Broadwater Tourist Park
Brooke has basically grown up in the caravan industry starting at the age of six when her parents started managing parks. Highly motivated and energetic, Brooke has an ability to connect with people of all ages and is highly respected by her peers and loved by guests.
Mourell Dunston of Ingenia Holidays
Mourell Dunston is the Park Manager of Ingenia Holidays Hervey Bay and is recognised for supporting other park managers and going above and beyond her usual duties to transcend her park from a holiday destination to an important part of the community.
Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut
The Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut team work tirelessly to provide a guest experience second to none, constantly exceeding guests expectations.
Broadwater Tourist Park, managed by Optimum Park Management
The team at Broadwater Tourist Park believe in making their guests feeling truly valued, they believe strongly in creating a connection with guests and making guests feel a part of the Broadwater Family.
BIG4 Whitsundays Tropical Eco Resort
BIG4 Whitsundays Tropical Eco Resort have refurbished 10 cabins, completely ripping out the interior of some, and putting in new kitchen units, flooring, a coat of paint, new bedding and finishings resulting in great guest feedback.
Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park
The team at Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park have created partnerships with several local organisations to empower staff, educate guests and achieve the Guest Experience Standard that is common across all of the Gold Coast Tourist Parks. These partnerships make this park an important part in their local community.
BIG4 NRMA Atherton Tablelands Holiday Park
Whilst this park has 3 groundsmen whose responsibility it is to take care of the parks gardens and maintenance, all of their staff, including the housekeepers and reception staff, take immense pride in the Park, which shows in the park and is reflected in guests reviews.
